Communication:
Throughout the ISTF project, our team has been communicating and getting along with each other very well. At first we were just getting to know each other and our working habits. Most of us were shy and let everyone else talk and make ideas. Now that time has passed, we have gotten more comfortable with each other and we are not as introverted. We have been communicating to our technical advisor through emails and through one of our team members. We have been doing our work on our own though so we haven’t had to communicate with him that much. Research and Innovation: Our team has learned a great deal of things from doing this project. First of all we learned how to work together as a team and listen to each others ideas and problems. We took note of each person’s idea of what our project should be and how we should go about doing it, how we should put together our website, and we had to follow a timeline so we could be on track of our work. We also learned how to do research, make websites, and how to make use of different programs and incorporate those into our project.
Teaming:
The way that our team’s teaming progressed throughout the program was, we worked together and used each others opinions to improve our project. We discussed our project’s problems and figured out solutions to them. Otherwise we did not really grow as a team. We only met once and since then we have only communicated in class. We had trouble getting along, but we were still able to get what we needed done and that’s all that matters in the long run. Over all our team was strong when we began but after awhile we started to decline as a team.
Lessons we have learned through out the project:
- Always plan ahead
- Get contact information so it’s easy to contact team members out of class
- Keep on task and stick to the plan
