The Super Six Team Representing Michigan's DCMST are "The Super Six" team, consisting Of:
Bailey A. Daniel F. Kevin C. Stefanie B. Khaled H. Emma H.
Assisting us in this project is our teacher, Ms. Griffin. We were unable to get a technical advisor for our project but here was our attempt: Dear Mr. Salsgiver,
We are writing to you to ask you to be our technical advisor for the Internet Science and Technology Fair (ISTF). The Internet Science and Technology Fair is a competition in which students create an idea to help improve the world and the way it functions. The tasks of a technical advisor throughout the project are pretty simple. The three most important things are to communicate with the team (by e-mail), offer advice, and fill out a few online forms that explain and evaluate how the team performs. If you would like more information about the program before you say yes or no, you can visit the website (http://istf.ucf.edu).
We would like you to be our technical advisor because we know that you have experience in the field of piloting and know a lot about airplanes. Our idea is to create a machine that is incorporated with the plane that would safely and efficiently de-ice wings of an air plane. The machine would send sonic waves that would either crack or melt the ice.
Our group is made up of six ninth graders (Bailey, Dan, Emma, Stefanie, Khaled, and Kevin). We go to three different high schools but are joined by a program called the Dearborn Center for Math, Science, and Technology (DCMST). We would greatly appreciate if you could help us with this project!
Thankyou!
Bailey
