Project MEAP

About these materials:

With the assistance of area educators, St. Clair County Intermediate School District has developed prototypes of the state assessment for kindergarten through ninth grade. These prototypes can be used throughout the school year to familiarize students and staff with the assessment and to gain valuable information to help inform curricular and instructional decisions. Units of study employing the four teaching/learning standards:
• Higher order thinking skills
• Deep knowledge
• Substantive conversation
• Connection to the World Beyond the Classroom, can easily be developed surrounding the themes of each of the prototypes.
