Track Star : Teachers now have access to computers in their classrooms. It was easy for them to postpone literacy and integration when they only had an old laptop or dial up access at home. The excuses are piling up and the children are being left behind. Here are some resources that can help. This is an example of one of HPR*TEC's tools.

Writing Across the Curriculum

Read, Write, Think: Printing Press These Lesson Plans provide a fun and useful framework for writing assignments in all curricular areas. Mostly secondary there are a number of lessons that are appropriate for the younger grades.

The interactive Printing Press is designed to assist students in creating newspapers, brochures, flyers, and booklets. Teachers and students can choose from several templates to publish class newspapers, informational brochures, and flyers announcing class events.
