Our Strategic Plan
About the Process
This was an intense two-day process to revise the current strategic plan. Members from across the district met to brainstorm, discuss and debate the information in the current strategic plan. Members of the committee included administrators, teachers, custodians, paraprofessionals, parents, students and community leaders; all stake holders in our district. This process was challenging, thought provoking, data and time driven and emotional at times. The high school students involved were an instrumental part of this process.
During this two-day process, the beliefs, guiding principles and mission were revisited and modified to reflect the changes continually taking place in our society. A vision was created for the district. Objectives and parameters were identified as well as, eight strategies. Currently, volunteers from all over the district are working on action plans to make each strategy a reality. Through these strategies and action plans our vision will be realized.
